Lavender Graduation
On Friday, April 24, VCU will host Lavender Graduation from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. This event is a celebration for graduating gender and sexual orientation minority students. Rainbow cords will be distributed to all graduates who will be walking in May. Members of the LGBTQIA and ally community are invited to attend, but you must register in advance by visiting the website at vcualumni.org/lavender. There is no fee and up to three guests can attend with each graduate. December 2014 and August 2015 graduates and their guests are also invited.

Bon Voyage: Your Passport to the World Graduation Celebrtion
Celebrate your graduation at Bon Voyage — a party in your honor sponsored by VCU Alumni. The big event will take place Tuesday, April 28, from 6:30 to 11 p.m. The event is open to all December 2014 and May 2015 graduates and one guest each. The entry fee is $10 per person for advance purchase only, or join VCU Alumni as a GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) member for $25 at vcualumni.org and receive a complimentary ticket to this event. Register online at vcualumni.org/bonvoyage or at the Grad Fairs, or visit the alumni houses at 924 W. Franklin St. or 1016 E. Clay St. Deadline for $10 registration is Monday, April 20. The fee at the door will be $20 per person.

Baccalaureate service
The Interfaith Campus Ministers Association will sponsor an interfaith baccalaureate service for graduates from both VCU campuses. The 2015 baccalaureate service is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 8, and will be held in the Academic Learning Commons, Room 1107, located at 1000 Floyd Ave. The service will feature a baccalaureate address and an interfaith service incorporating representatives and special music from various religious traditions. All 2015 graduates, faculty, staff, and friends and family of the Class of 2015 are cordially invited to attend. Candidates are invited to wear caps and gowns at this event.
